Amla candy

As winter has just begun, we see different types of fruits and vegetables in the market. Amla is one of them.
Today We will make Amla candy from Amla.
Amla is an excellent source of Vitamin C, hence it helps boost your immunity, metabolism and prevents viral and bacterial ailments, including cold and cough. Its nutritional profile also comes studded with a range of polyphenols that are known to fight against the development of cancer cells.

INGREDIENTS:

Amla candy

250 gms Amla (Gooseberry)

225 gms gud (jaggery)

1/4 cup aamchur powder

1/4 tsp black salt

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp Roasted jeera

1 tsp Roasted ajwain

1/4 tsp hing

1 tsp ginger powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

4 tsp ground sugar

Boil Amla in cooker till it whistles twice.
Let it cooldown. Remove the seeds and grind it in a grinder.

Take a pan and pour amla mixture. Cook it on medium flame for 5 minutes once Amla gets cooked, add jaggery , stir continously.

Add all masalas,black salt, salt,roasted jeera ,roasted ajwain ,hing, black pepper,and ginger powder. Last but not the least, add amchur powder. Mix everything properly, stirring continuously.
Cook for another 5 minutes, then let it cooldown.
After 15 minutes, take sugar powder in a dish. Make small small balls from the mixture and roll it in sugar powder.
Store it in dry place. This will last for about a year.

Just 2 balls are enough after food for better digestion.
It is full of vitamins, hence a very healthy option for children.
