Adadiya pak

Hope you all are fine and enjoying winter.

Today's recipe is Adadiya pak, a recipe I’m especially writing for my facebook friends.

Adadiya is famous winter special gujarati sweet. Traditionally Gujarati Style Adadiya Pak Recipe contains ingredients which helps to keep body warm in cold winter.
I am a bit late for making this, but I reserved it for my 101st recipe post.

Adadiya pak
INGREDIENTS:

500 gms Adad flour
500 gms sugar
400 gms ghee
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 cup grated almond
1/2 cup milk.

Take Adad flour and shift it into a deep bowl.
Mix 1/2 cup ghee with 1/4 cup milk. Heat it on flame. Let it boil and pour slowly as required in Adad flour, start mixing it, till its colour turns yellow.
In gujrati language its called "dhrabo".
Mix everything well and Let it pass through a sieve.

Take a deep pan and pour ghee in it. Let it heat. Add Adad flour and roast it properly till it turns light brown. Add grated Almond  and cardamom powder. Mix everything well.
Keep aside and let it cool off.
Grind sugar and keep aside.
When Adad mixture cools off a little, add sugar powder and mix it for 2 to 3 minutes so all the sugar gets mixed properly.
Let it cool down for 5 more minutes, then pour it into greased tray. Garnish with cardamom powder and grated almond .
Make small squares lines while it is still slightly warm but cut pieces when it is completly cool down, i.e. atleast  after 1 hour.
Tasty Adadiyas are ready.

A single piece of Adadiya in morning with milk gives energy for a complete day.
