One pot salad

Today I am writing about a super nutritive salad specially for people who want to loose weight.
Lettuce, Broccoli ,and Eggs are few classic salad ingredients.




There are various reasons why lettuce is a perfect add-on to any weight loss diet. It is low in calories and contains no fat.  Lettuce is full of water; the water content in lettuce almost matches that of cucumber’s.

Broccoli, just like lettuce, is a low-calorie vegetable that can be perfectly included in a weight loss diet. Since broccoli is packed with dietary fibre, its high nutritional profile prevents nutrient deficiencies.

Eggs are rich in protein, which helps in promoting satiety. Additionally, protein helps in building muscle mass, which is important if you are exercising and lifting weights.

Ingredients:

5 leaves of lettuce

50 grams chopped and blanched broccoli

1 boiled egg

1/4 tsp Black pepper

Salt to taste

Take a bowl, tear the lettuce leaves and add chopped blanched broccoli. Mix properly.

Now, add a spoon of salad dressing of your choice (avoid mayonnaise) into the salad and mix well.

Cut boiled egg into four pieces and put it in the salad. You may add quinoa to your salad, but that's completely optional. Add salt and pepper as per taste and serve.
