Today's recipe is Russian salad . Russian salad is very tasty and very healthy . It contains vegetables , fruits and also dry fruit . You can add even egg if you want but I am not adding it as I want it to remain pure vegetarian dish . This salad goes best with tomato soup . Hope you guys like it.
INGREDIENTS :
1 cup Potato cubes
1 cup Carrot cubes
½ Cup peas
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
4 tbsp Cream
1 tbs Caster Sugar (optional )
1/4 tps Black pepper powder
1/2 cup Pineapple chunks
1 cup Apple cubes
1/2 cup Corn Boiled
2 tsp Raisins
2 tsp Walnuts
Salt to taste
Boil water in a large pan, add potatoes carrots cubes and peas in it . Let it boil for 5 minutes then drain it with cold water. Take a deep bowl , add mayonnaise, cream, caster sugar, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Add boiled potatoes, carrots and peas. Add boiled corn, pineapple chunks, Raisins and walnuts. Mix everything and keep it in fridge for 1 hour.
Your tasty Russian salad is ready.
You can have it with any food as salad or like separate dish.
