Paneer paratha

Hi everyone,
My last post was ' Kerigol nu shaak'
My daughter called to ask me, “how can you expect students to put in efforts to make this?”
I said its because if they make it once they can have it with anything for whole the year long. Whenever they don’t have enough time to make subji, they can eat bread or chapati with Kerigol nu shaak which will be ready in the fridge.

Today's recipe is Paneer paratha.

INGREDIENTS:

200 gms grated paneer
1 potato mashed
1 tsp garlic ginger paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmric
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp sugar ( optional )
Salt to taste
2 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup oil

Take a bowl and add paneer, potato, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric, lemon juice, sugar and salt. Mix everything thoroughly. Keep aside for sometime.
Take a bowl, add wheat flour, add 1 tsp oil, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything well, add water and knead the dough.
Rest it for 10 to 15 minutes.
Make 6 equal balls from both these bowls.
Take one of the wheat flour balls and roll it with the help of a rolling pin and dry flour. Put the paneer ball on the rolled paratha and cover from all sides and make another ball. Roll it carefully.
Heat a non stick tava and place the rolled paratha on it. After 30 seconds, flip it to the otherside. Spread oil all over the paratha and flip it again. Spread oil in the same way on the otherside also. Press it slightly on the tava with a spetula.
Flip again and cook the same way.
Paneer paratha is ready.
Make all other paratha same way.
Its a full meal in itself. You can have it with chutney or tomato ketchup.
