Patavadi

Hope you all are fine and at the best of your health.

Today's recipe is our dear Beenabhabhi's recipe. She cameover to our place and made delicious Patavadi for all of us.
I want to give her credit for this recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Besan (gram flour)
2 1/2 cup buttermilk
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp hing
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp chilli powder
3 /4 curry leaves
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
1/2 cup coriander
Salt to taste.

Take a bowl and add Besan, buttermilk, turmeric, chilli powder and salt.
Mix everything well. Pour it in to a pan
and begin cooking, stirring continuously.
Stir till spatula can stand in the mixture without holding it. This is a simple way to know that the dough is ready.

Keep ready and clean greased platform. If you do not want to use platform, you can use the back side of dishes.

Spread a thin layer of the dough on the platform or on the back side of dish. Let it cool for a while, then make straight lines on it. Roll the Patavadi one by one and place it in a serving bowl.

Take a pan, add oil, heat it, add mustard seeds , hing, curry leaves and sesame seeds.

Spread this on the Patavadi, which is already kept in serving bowl. Garnish with chopped coriander . Your delicious Patavadi is ready.
