Moongdal ( Yellow lentils)





Hello everyone!
Today I am going to write about Moongdal (Yellow lentils)
Usually we make moongdal on tuesdays with bhindi or okra subji.
 INGREDIENTS:
1 small cup moongdal (Yellow lentils)
1 tsp.oil
1/2 tsp. Mustard
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp chilli powder

Wash moongdal, and boil it by adding 2 cups of water.
Take a pan , add oil, heat it, add mustard, when it start bursting add cumin seeds. Add turmeric and then add the boiled dal. Salt as per taste and chilli powder. Bring it to boil, let it boil for about 5 to 7 minutes. 
Moongdal is ready to serve.
You can have it with rice or roti.
