Hello everyone,
Hope you all are doing well.
Today I went to Mtnl Bandra & I had a terrible experience. Found them to be very rude and unhelpful. Also, they only had one card reader which too was faulty! They simply said that that is the only machine they have! I was genuinely shocked to hear that when she told me about it! Spent almost one and half hour just to pay two bills and reconnect my phoneline!
Anyway I could not complete my task. So not the best start to the day for me. Although last whole week, inspite of being hectic, was so full of joy & positivity that such experiences can be conveniently written-off. I was here in Mumbai for almost a week, had a lovely time, got to meet my family, I've lived most of my life in Mumbai. Hence, I love Mumbai.
Anyway, Let's come to our today's recipe:
Palak (spinach) paneer
INGREDIENTS
500g palak/spinach
200g paneer
1 onion
1 tbsp Garam masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp.turmeric
1 lemon
Salt to taste.
Boil Palak and onion together, grind it in mixer to make a smooth paste. Take care while grinding that it must remain semi solid, not too liquidy. Pass it through stainer to make it smoother. Now pour it in a pan, add turmeric, red chilli powder,
and garam masala to it. Let it cook for 5 minutes with the lid on. After which, add small pieces of paneer to it. Add salt to taste. Mix everything well. Let it cook for 10 minutes with lid on. Stir occasionally. Add lemon juice, mix properly. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Your tasty Palak paneer is ready.
You can use tomatoes instead of lemon but lemon gives a good green colour so I personally prefer that.
You can add fried paneer, but I prefer raw paneer. Fried paneer is not allowed in diet.
You can have it with paratha or rice. It is very healthy, at the same time very easy to make and equally tasty to eat.
