Kajal


Hi everyone, 

Today we will make kajal the traditional way. 

Ingredients: 

3 soil lamps ( Mitti ke diye )

1 tsp ghee

1 cotton bati

1 small box 

Recipe:

1. Light a ghee-filled earthen lamp. 

2. Place two soil lamps on it so that all the black flames collect in it.

3.Once the flame goes off, take out both soil lamps from there and let them cool. 

4. You will see a black layer on the soil lamp which you kept lit with ghee. 

5. Scrub the entire layer slowly and collect it in a small box. 

6. Add 2 to 3 drops of ghee to it.

7. Mix it gently with a very clean finger. 

8. Apply your Kajal. 

9. You can use it for years; it does not have an expiry date.
