Hi everyone,
Today we will make a crispy and also a very nutritious snack, with sabut Masoor.
Masoor is power-packed with nutrients and has immeasurable benefits. It can fulfil the nutritional and dietary requirements of an entire meal.
We will use readymade thin sev with sabut masoor.
We will make Dalmoth today.
INGREDIENTs
250 gms Masoor sabut
50 gms thin sev
Oil for frying
Black salt as per taste
Soak Masoor overnight. Use a strainer to strain the masoor in the morning and let it dry for sometime.
Take a deep frying pan , pour 2 cups of oil and allow it to heat. Drop a tiny bit of dal in the oil if it comes up quickly, oil is ready to fry.
Add some dal and let it fry on simmer.
It should be crispy when you take it out.
Fry all remaining dal just like that.
Let it cooldown. After an hour or so, add black salt as per your taste and some readymade thin sev. Mix well and your crispy dalmoth is ready.
For convenient frying you can use a medium sized strainer for frying. If you feel masoor is not as crispy as you’d like it to be, you can toss it in a microwave for about 2-3 minutes, or as required.
It is a very tasty snack, give it a try.
Hope you will like this, see you soon with new recipe.👩🍳
