Mamra ladoo

Today's recipe is Mumra ladoo
Very simple quick and tasty recipe. It is healthy and guilt free sweet.
Mumra ladoo
INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp ghee(optional)
1 cup jaggery
3 cups mumra ( Puffed rice )

Take a deep pan, add mumra and roast it on slow flame. Once roasted, pour it to another vessel to cooldown.
Now add ghee into pan, once it melts add jaggery, stir continuously.
Take water in small bowl, once you feel jaggery is done, drop a drop in to that water, if it becomes ball , its done. Turn off the flame. Add mumra to pan and stir continuously. Once mixed properly start making balls, fondly called ladoo.

You can make your variations by using
sesame seeds, peanuts or roasted grams in place of mumra.

You can have it anytime anywhere, without thinking about calories. It is crunchy, crisp, delicious and Gluten free sweet which is ready within 15 minutes.
