After a week long party, it is time to detox yourself.
Today's recipe is detox drink, which contains coriander,cucumber,mint,ginger,and lemon.
Cucumber contains both antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, which helps in regular detoxification. Coriander has cooling effect, but when it is combined with ginger, it provides a balanced heat. Coriander aids in digestion and boost immunity. It is also a natural diuretic, eliminates flatulence and acts as a blood tonic and purifier. Mint is a calming and soothing herb that has been used for thousands of years to aid with upset stomach or indigestion. .. on the other hand, lemon purifies the blood, it also contains potassium which controls high blood pressure and reduces the effect of nausea and dizziness. Lemon also reduces the production of free radicals which are responsible for aging skin and skin damage.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup green coriander
1/2 cup mint leaves
1/2 inch long ginger
1 cucumber
1/2 lemon
Pinch of black pepper
Pinch of rock salt
Take blender, add chopped coriander,mint leaves, ginger and sliced cucumber.
Blend everything and pass through sieve. Squeeze half lemon. Add pinch of rock salt and black pepper.
Tasty and healthy detox drink is ready.
You can take this drink empty stomach or with breakfast. Also you can have it 1 hour before going to bed.
It works wonders! Try for a week and you will find difference in your health.
