This time I am writing about Karachi ice halwa.
It’s a pretty famous dessert and I personally love it.
Karachi ice halwa:
IGRADIENTS:
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 cups water
1/2 cup corn flour
3 tbsp ghee
3/4 chopped almond and cashew nuts
3/4 drops of lemon
2 tbsp strawberry crush
Take a deep pan. Add sugar and one cup water and Bring to boil.
Take a cup, add corn flour and one cup water. Mix and make a smooth paste.
Add this paste into the boiling sugar water. Keep flame at medium. Stir continuously. Add one tbsp ghee. Continue stirring and add one more tbsp ghee. Stir for 2/3 minutes. Add 3/4 drops of lemon. Add one tbsp ghee again. Add a Total of 3 tbsp ghee to the mixture. Lastly add the stawberry crush and chopped almond and cashew nut and mix everything well. Pour in to greased vessel and let it sit for an hour.
Our tasty halwa is ready.
