Today's recipe is Aloo paratha
It is very tasty and easy to make and is also a sufficiently filling meal.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cup wheat flour
6 Potatoes
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup oil
salt to taste
Take a big bowl, add wheat flour, add 2 tbsp.oil, very little salt, only one pinch,
Add water as required and make soft dough. Let it rest for at least 10 minutes.Make 8 equal balls.
Boil potatoes, peel and mash them. Add turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala, sugar, lemon juice and salt to taste. Mix everything properly and make 8 equal balls.
Take some wheat flour in a bowl, dip wheat ball and roll paratha. Keep potato ball in between and cover with the dough from all sides. Dip it in wheat flour again and start rolling. Ensure medium thickness.
Heat tava and place rolled paratha. Let it cook properly, brush some oil and flip it.Repeat on the other side, press with spatula and flip again.Tasty patatha is ready.
Make all other parathas same way.
You can have it with curd, pickle, or ketchup.
Its a delicious meal and you can have it anytime anywhere.
