Suji halwa




Hi everyone,

Today I am writing about Suji Halwa.

It is easy and very tasty. Recipe is very similar to suji upma.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Suji/rava/semolina

1/2 cup sugar

3 cups milk

5 Almond

1/2 cup ghee

1/2 tsp cardamom powder

1/2 Banana (optional)

Take a pan,add ghee and let it heat.
Now add suji. Stir continuously till it turn little pink in colour.
Now add milk, stir continuously for some time. Now add Sugar and cardamom powder. Stir for 5 more minutes. You will see ghee will be saprated from halwa. Your tasty Suji halwa is ready . Serve hot. Garnish with finely chopped almond and banana slices.

Diet concious people can use sugarfree powder instead of sugar.
It tastes same as with sugar but just take care that sugarfree you have to add after you off the flam otherwise it will turn bitter in taste.
