Hi everyone
My last post was about Rava dosa so someone suggested I should write about coconut chutney and sambhar.
Today's recipe is coconut chutney.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup fresh grated coconut.
2 tbsp fried gram or roasted chanadal
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
2 green chillies
1 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp Mustard
1/2 tsp urad dal
1/4 tsp hing/asafoetida
5/6 curry leaves
1 broken red chilli
Add coconut, gram, chillies, cumin seeds and salt in a blender.
Blend everything properly. Add water if require for blending. Make thick chutney.
Now take a pan, add oil, let it heat, add mustard and when it starts bursting add Urad dal, red chilli, curry leaves and hing. Add this to the blended coconut and your chutney is ready.
This chutney, you can eat with idli or dosa
