Yesterday we went to see lightings at India gate. It was a beautiful sight! India gate was lit with tricolour and right opposite was Rastrapati bhavan, lit in LED lights. Beautiful fountains were lit by tricolour LED lights. Had a great evening with a very intense patriotic atmosphere.

Let come to today's recipe.
Today's recipe :Veg.pulao
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup rice
2 chopped carrots
1 chopped onion
1/2 cup green peas
1/2 cup chopped beans
1/2 cup chopped cauliflower
1tsp cumin seeds
1 tamalpatra/bey leaf
1/1/1 clove,cinnamon,cardamom
1/4 tsp hing/asafoetida
1 tsp temeric
1 tps red chilli powder
1 garam masala
2 tsp oil
1 tsp.butter (optional)
Salt to taste.
Wash rice thoroughly and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
Take a pressure pan,add oil, let it heat ,add cumin,add turmeric and hing,1tamalpatra,clove,cardamom,cinnamon and then add chopped onion.stir it well . Now add other chopped vegetables and stir it thoroughly. Let it cook for 2 minutes now add washed rice with out water. Stir everything carefully. Now add 1.5 cup water, garam masala and salt to taste. Add butter, stir everything.Close pressure pan and let it whistle twice. Let it cooldown,
and tasty pulao is ready.
You can have it with curd,kadhi or with tomato soup.
This is healthy at the same time very easy and fast to cook recipe.
If you do not have pressure pan, you can cook this in normal pan by covering with lid. Only thing is this will take little more time to cook.
